There's no wrong way to "do cancer"

My journey began January 31, 2009 when I bumped into the edge of a door and found a lump in my left breast. It felt like it was the size of a golf ball. It was on a Saturday evening so I had 2 grueling nights to wonder. It wasn’t as long a wait as I expected, I was diagnosed February 2 and had a bi-lateral mastectomy, March 12th as of today that is the only treatment I have received.

Having lost both parents to Cancer and several relatives and friends I wasn’t a stranger to the World of Cancer, you think you know and have seen just about all there is to it. But when it’s you that hears those 3 little words “You’ve got Cancer” it’s only than when you truly know what Cancer is about.

Why do we call it a journey.......well for me; it lead me literally down  thousands of paths, each more daunting than the next. Why daunting you may ask.... You've heard the saying "Down The Rabbit Hole" the deeper you go; the more you see that Cancer like most diseases all come back to one common denominator; MONEY!

What I hope to accomplish with this blog is to open peoples minds! Get people motivated to do their own research, ask questions, and demand actions!
